"Enough is Enough".....

All of us spend time doing things that are boring. We get caught up in the "have to do" things that create errands and make up lists. I have decided that "enough is enough"!

I am going to do something I have long talked about! I am going to combine three of my passions, wine, two wheeling and travel! I am putting together a "Tour of Tuscany" by Vespa! Would you like come? We will see beautiful Tuscany and taste great wine! We will leave in late May and spend around 8 days really living! It will be affordable, wonderful and memorable. Come and enjoy meeting new best friends and creating memories you will cherish the rest of your life.
Want to come with me? 14 more people can go, e-mail me at VaughanPederson@yahoo.com!

Big Sound, Little Horn....

Music is one of my passions. I have been a professional musician since the age of 14. I play classical music, chamber music and jazz.

A number of years ago I came across a pocket trumpet - what a unique instrument! Many horns live in my studio, but I didn't have one of these. Two weeks ago I found one in San Antonio, and it played great! A deal was struck on the spot. This will be my new Dixieland horn. It joins my 1919 Buescher and my 1942 Gladiator.

A Good Wine is the One I'm Drinking....

My friends have all heard me say this often enough, "A good wine is the one I'm drinking..."

It's true. Wine is no good if you are not enjoying it!

I love big red wines. Today I'm drinking the 2003 Barolo from Stroppiana Vineyards in Italy - Variety: 100% Nebbiolo. It is a great big wine, lots of flavor and a great finish. I sip it. I savor it. It is a beautiful wine for today, a sunny mild and breezy day in Houston. It is far to beautiful outside to spend the day indoors.

Do you have a favorite wine? Will you share it with me?
